BEYOND WINE TOURS

Oltrepò: from east to west.
We are in the western Oltrepò.
Here we find an incredible story, symbol of an intense vocation, and an ancestral link between wine and the Oltrepò Pavese.
Slopes that rise like walls before woods and steep inclines that dive into one another, with Pinot Nero, native grapes and mixed cultivations are all features of the westernmost part of the region.
Thanks to these features, an alternate world is created, that can only be found in Coppa Valley and in the lower Staffora Valley.
The wines of this area are distinguished by great warmth, freshness and floral fragrances.
We will talk about the past of Italian Champagne, Pinot Nero, but above all about native varieties.
